SOLIDARITY STREET GALLERY is an arts and cultural festival that brings together artists and community members for important exchanges about justice, equity, and resilience, celebrating all the diverse groups who call the Eastside of St. Paul their home.

In 1891, Salvation Army Captain Joseph McFee was distraught because so many poor individuals in San Francisco were going hungry. During the holiday season, he resolved to provide a free Christmas dinner for the destitute and poverty-stricken. He only had one major hurdle to overcome -- funding the project.

Arcade Phalen Post 577 American Legion is proud to serve Veterans and their families as well as our local community and youth. We are proud to be a part of St Paul's East Side and are working to create a welcoming atmosphere for all. We encourage all in our community to be our guest and visit the Post. Stop in for a beverage in our club, join in the excitement of gameday or hold your event of choice in our large event hall, with a capacity of up to 250 people! The Post also hosts several events such as an annual "Booya", Oktoberfest, Veterans Day Dinners, etc.  We also host league events such as golf, bocce ball and bean bag toss.  Stop in and see what Post 577 has to offer for you, whether you're a military veteran, family member or community-based guest!

A large variety of Trunk or Treat Events (RIvoli Bluff, Salvation Army, a variety of churches, more).

How do you spread safety and goodwill throughout the City of Saint Paul?  By firing up the grill of course!

The Safe Summer Nights program is designed to provide opportunities for police officers to become acquainted with residents of the neighborhoods they serve over a meal rather than during times of trouble. The initiative began in 2014 when Safe Summer Nights partnered with the Saint Paul Police Department and the Saint Paul Parks & Recreation Department to host events in Saint Paul that brought neighborhood families and police officers together in a picnic-type setting. Safe Summer Nights help bridge the gap between police and the people they serve.
