Uniquely East Side Festival - Volunteer

As hard to believe as it is, it is almost a year since our last SOLIDARITY STREET GALLERY 2022 festival.

We would like to invite and encourage you to join us as a volunteer! The festival will take place Saturday, September 9, 12 - 7 PM, under the theme: 'Celebrating the Tapestry of Cultures in our Neighborhood.' To find out more and sign up, please go to:

For 2023, we are rebranding the overall festival to UNIQUELY EASTSIDE FESTIVAL. Similar to last year, the festival will center around a fine-art gallery exhibition and a walkable street gallery showcasing the works of over 50 artists at about 25 sites; a performance stage with live music and dance; an artisan and vendor marketplace; and a wide range of children and community activities. New for 2023 is an art contest for youth, a farmers market, and an EATSIDE CHALLENGE tastings and other business specials at a good number of local restaurants, service providers and retail stores. https://fb.me/e/1jPVxZCex

We are keeping the SOLIDARITY STREET GALLERY brand as well, focused on everything related to the fine-art exhibitions.

We are looking to fill a number of volunteer roles, before the festival to assist with artwork installation, signage placement, and equipment set-up; during the festival to welcome guests as a greeter or help with children's activities; and at the end of the day to pitch in with equipment take-down and clean-up.
